Avalanche Launcher 3000
The Avalanche Launcher 3000 was the first version of the prop for SpongeBob Musical. It later got changed for color coordination problems. The was a repurposed nerf gun to create a more comical invention with using recycled items.
Cartouche Project
The Cartouche Project was painted for my scenic painting class at Iowa State University. It worked on using highlight and shadow to create shapes and depth on the painting.
Aizawa Yuri Cosplay
The cosplay is Aizawa Yuri from Strongest Magical Swordsman. It was made for Anime Nebraskon. The boats, pants, and gloves were purchased everything else was made. The pauldron, arm guard, hand guard, and sword were 3D printed by Jacob Thrap which I then finished and painted. The belts that cross the chest are made from foam then covered by fabric. The shirt and waist piece were made with a custom pattern.
Poster Project
The Poster Project was painted for the scenic painting class at Iowa State University. I utilized a projector to trace the poster onto the canvas. Then starting with the background and working forward in the picture to paint different layers. I used different techniques like wet blending, scumbling, and dry brushing to achieve most of the large sections in the painting.
